Brigadier General (res.), political, economic and security advisor.
Born in Italy, he currently lives in the community of Nofit. Married, father 3 and grandfather of 5, Baruch holds a master’s degree in Political Science, the Middle East and Public Administration.
He joined the IDF in 1966 and joined the Golani Brigade in 1969. In the framework of the “Reinforcement of the Lines” program, he served in the Golani Brigade after the Yom Kippur War, and from 1988-1990 served as its commander. Baruch was the commander of the Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, and was the Special Advisor to the Minister of Defense and the President of the State in the development of regional issues.
Today, Baruch has a consulting firm in the field of regional political, economic and security cooperation aimed at promoting these areas in our region. In addition, Baruch is a consultant in the Economic Cooperation Fund, a member of the Board of Directors of a Forum for Youth at Risk and co-director of the IDF Defense for Nature project.
