The ‘Or Gadol’ exhibition will feature around 70 artists, of whom some are from the Gaza envelope as well as evacuees from the north, showcasing works inspired by the October 7th attack. Curated by Tali Ben Sira, the exhibition was initiated by the Jaffa Port, the Tel Aviv – Yafo municipality in collaboration with the ‘Darkenu’ movement. The proceeds from the sale of the artworks will contribute to the rehabilitation of the surrounding area, with emphasis on cultural and artistic institutions and initiatives, as well as benefiting the artists themselves.

In the photo, published by journalist Israel Frey from Darkenu’s DemocraTV, the minister is seen sitting at the head of the table, surrounded by 13 other employees – all without masks – during a birthday celebration for one of the employees. The minister’s office explained that the minister only came by for a few minutes and even “mentioned to those present the duty to refrain from deviating from the procedures.” Still, at the same time, she did not wear a mask herself, and the COVID-19 regulations were not kept.

In a photo published by DemocraTV, Regev is seen with 14 employees of her office. Based on the picture, Regev and a few others present not only did not wear a mask – but also did not have one on their faces at all.

A memorial candles display for the victims of COVID-19 was erected in Paris Square, Jerusalem – November 8, 2020
The Darkenu movement placed 2,656 memorial candles to commemorate the number of people who died of the coronavirus, a number equal to the victims of the Yom Kippur War. The last candle was lit by reserve Captain Moti Ashkenazi.
