In the photo, published by journalist Israel Frey from Darkenu’s DemocraTV, the minister is seen sitting at the head of the table, surrounded by 13 other employees – all without masks – during a birthday celebration for one of the employees. The minister’s office explained that the minister only came by for a few minutes and even “mentioned to those present the duty to refrain from deviating from the procedures.” Still, at the same time, she did not wear a mask herself, and the COVID-19 regulations were not kept.
