Yaniv has retired from the security system after serving 22 years in intelligence and research roles, specializing in Israeli society.

He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and communication from the Hebrew University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ben-Gurion University.

He is a content writer and opinion leader on Facebook regarding current affairs and Israeli society. 

Yaniv defines himself as a complex individual in his opinions and beliefs, with dialogic approach, and a belief in transparency. He believes that the number one issue in Israeli society is the loss of trust in all directions, and he is of the opinion that there is a moderate and diverse majority in the public that needs to lead and promote Israel towards a democratic, liberal, Jewish, compassionate, pluralistic, thriving, and peace-seeking state.
